Click & Connect, what could be simpler? Rhino Products Connect+ is a seamless way to connect your vehicles original reversing sensors directly into a Rhino step. Recently re-launched for a new range of popular LCV’s, Connect+ is leading the way in the seamless integration of reversing sensors into an aftermarket step.
Taking 10 minutes from start to finish, fitting Connect+ lives true to it's 'plug and play' name, below we run you through the simple fitting process to installing a Rhino rear step with Connect+.
Firstly, OEM sensors are removed from the vehicle bumper, and disconnected from the wiring harness.
Outriggers are then fitted to the vehicle's under-chassis mounting points and the step is fitted and secured, as per instructions.
Each OEM sensor is clicked into the wiring loom provided in the step. *Please note that this is shown with the step not fitted for illustrative purposes.
Once the OEM sensors are reconnected into the Rhino step, they are then securely placed into the housing units provided.
The wiring loom is then reconnected into the vehicle, and blanking plugs are provided to fill the space where the OEM sensors were previously located. The vans sensors then work as normal, with the added reassurance that the step at the rear of the vehicle is also protected when reversing.
Having already proved to be a hugely popular solution for modern commercial vehicles, Connect+ is now available for Rhino’s AccessStep, TowStep and TowStep Duo range, for a new and much larger selection of Europe’s most popular LCV variants. Connect+ is also available for the Renault Master, Nissan NV400, Vauxhall Movano, as well as the Vauxhall Vivaro, Citroën Dispatch, Fiat Scudo, Peugeot Expert, and Toyota Proace.
